There’s a dramatic soaring reception (yes, ‘lobby’ to our cousins overseas), heated pool, and marina. There are nightly campfires and sing-a-longs. But don’t worry, if the thought of a nightly sing-a-long fills you with horror, you can retreat to your room, its patio or balcony, and décor reminiscent of historic National Park lodges (nope, we don’t know what they are either). Your room has Mission style furnishings (think Habitat) in warm woods, and colourful quilted bedspreads.
A long, winding road marks the way to Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, which is nestled among towering pine trees. There are totem poles and floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking rock formations and winding streams. Native American carvings and decor add to the authentic feel of a lakeside lodge.
In addition to the 12-story geyser that shoots into the air on an hourly basis, the lodge has an outdoor pool with a waterfall and slide, hot and cold spa tubs, a fitness centre, and a marina with boat rentals and fishing excursions (if you catch anything you have to put it back, so don’t plan on feeding your 5000 this way!).
Stay here and you’re eligible for Disney’s Magical Express Service, which involves coaches that take you from Orlando International Airport to your Disney Resort hotel, while Disney picks up your bags and takes them straight to your room (not Mr Disney himself of course, that would be weird). When your holiday is over you and your bags are whisked from the Disney Resort hotel back to the airport.

Ocean Florida Says
This grand resort is in a grove of pine trees and just one mile from the Magic Kingdom, which you get to by ferry or coach, both of which are free. On some evenings, guests meet at the lobby fireplace for a round of storytelling. There’s also a nightly campfire and sing-along followed by a classic Disney movie. It’s not compulsory though!

Transport
Take advantage of our fully inclusive rates and drive off into the sunset! Don’t want to drive? Transfers can be arranged from Miami Airport and back, so car or not, you won't be left hanging around!
