|
A monorail outside the lobby of this South Seas-inspired resort zips guests to Epcot and the Magic Kingdom Park, which is just across the water. Lush landscaping surrounds you.
Polynesian-style guestrooms, many with patios or balconies, are located in 11 colourful buildings, each named after a Pacific island. Furnishings are wicker and bamboo; bathrooms are marble.
Stay here and you’re eligible for Disney’s Magical Express Service, which involves coaches that take you from Orlando International Airport to your Disney Resort hotel, while Disney picks up your bags and takes them straight to your room (not Mr Disney himself of course, that would be weird). When your holiday is over you and your bags are whisked from the Disney Resort hotel back to the airport.

Ocean Florida Says
One of the original Walt Disney World Resort hotels, Disney's Polynesian Resort has aged well, gardenias, banana trees, hibiscus, and orchids abound. You’re in a great place for convenience here, as you can step out of the reception (that’s ‘the lobby’ when you’re there of course) on to the monorail platform, which takes you directly to the Magic Kingdom park. The pool is wicked, with waterfalls, caves, and slides. There’s the Neverland Club too, which is a childcare facility for children aged 4–12 years with, of course, a Peter Pan theme.
Ocean-Florida Top Tip: One of the best spots for viewing the Magic Kingdom Park fireworks 1 mile away is on the swings and hammocks at the Disney's Polynesian Resort white-sand beach along the Seven Seas Lagoon.

Transport
Car hire is always recommended to make the most of Florida. But if it’s mainly theme parks for you, you can take advantage of the FREE shuttle services this hotel provides and if you do drive, parking is free.
