There are also two outdoor pools on site - including one in the shape of Mickey’s ears - as well as spa tubs, a playground, and an arcade.
Six miles from Epcot and Disney-MGM Studios, Disney’s Contemporary Resort has a great view of the Magic Kingdom Park and – wait for it – direct access via a monorail!
The 1,008 rooms have colourful, futuristic décor with splashy geometric designs. Some rooms have sofa beds or day beds too, and many come with balconies.
Guests at Disney’s Contemporary Resort can take advantage of the Extra Magic Hour for an extra hour of ‘magic’ each day: Each day one of Disney’s four major theme parks opens an hour early, exclusively for resort guests. Oooo! How exclusive! Check with guest services in the hotel to learn which park is offering the Extra Magic Hour on which day. You need valid theme park tickets and your resort ID.
Stay here and you’re eligible for Disney’s Magical Express Service, which involves coaches that take you from Orlando International Airport to your Disney Resort hotel, while Disney picks up your bags and takes them straight to your room (not Mr Disney himself of course, that would be weird). When your holiday is over you and your bags are whisked from the Disney Resort hotel back to the airport.
