It’s perched on a 30-foot bluff (‘a high steep bank formed usually by river erosion’) over the western Florida Intracoastal waterway (river or canal), in a gated golf and residential community. Palm trees, live oaks with Spanish moss, and a sweeping driveway lead to a modern reception area.
The Eclipse Day Spa, an 18-hole golf course, four tennis courts, and a complimentary shuttle service to the golf course or the resort’s Gulf of Mexico beach are available. Depending on which airport you’re flying into, you have many options here. Car hire would be the best way of making the most of this great location, but if your flying into Tampa then transfers are easily organised.
